Thread	100% cotton. Natural cotton thread throughout, so the fabric and every seam stay plastic-free.
Zippers	Metal zippers, polyester tape. The zip teeth are metal; the tape they run on is polyester. It's the one spot of synthetic on this piece, chosen for durability.
